Customer Service Representative

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join us in our waterfront head office in South Burnaby. Surrounded by parks and nature trails, we are only minutes from Vancouver and easily accessible by public transit.

This full-time position is suitable for a dedicated customer-oriented professional who wants to join a successful medium-sized, industry-leading manufacturing company with a small but dynamic team. Many of our team members have been with the company for 15 years or more.

Job Details:

The successful candidate will work out of our head office in Burnaby, BC

• Full time position -- Monday to Friday 8.00am -- 4.30pm
• Enjoy the family atmosphere of a small entrepreneurial business
• Have spent a minimum 3 years each in at least one or two order desk/customer service positions
• Minimum 5 years experience in a customer service environment required

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Entry while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Provide superior customer service to Canadian & US dealer network
• Ability to quote pricing to customers in a fast-paced environment
• Must be comfortable with Canadian geography, and know location of most Canadian cities

Required Skills, Qualities and Abilities:

• Strong ability to multi task while remaining detail oriented
• Fluent in English, both written and oral
• With an ability to learn quickly, you are professional with excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to converse and write French, an asset
• Experience with Sage/Accpac, advantageous
• You are a team player who is driven, has a sense of urgency, passion, a great sense of humour
• Superb customer service skills. You are into people pleasing!
• Experience working in a customer service/order desk setting with regional or national dealer network

Compensation:

Columbia Manufacturing offers base salary of up to $65,000 per annum plus a competitive compensation package, bonus, and benefits.
