Job Description
Business: SARIA’s UK operations have a market-leading presence in a wide range of sectors associated with the food chain. The Group’s companies manufacture quality products for use in human and animal foodstuffs, agriculture, aquaculture, and industrial applications. The company also produces biofuels and renewable energy and provides services for farming and the food industry. The company has a UK annual turnover approaching £280 million and employs around 1,000 people at 19 sites across the country


The Position


Applications are invited to apply for the position of Customer Relations and Account Assistant at our Fallen Stock site based in Rampisham, Dorset. This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. The temporary contract is expected to last for 3-6 months, although there is scope for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.


Responsibilities


As a Customer Relations and Account Assistant your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company’s requirements but will include


  • Analyse existing customer account data and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor social media and website requests, updating our social media content.
  • Contacting existing customers maintaining our excellent service and relationships.
  • Assist in migrating customer data to a new CRM/Invoicing system for better portfolio management.
  • Assist with credit control – discuss overdue accounts with our customers, sending reminder letters and taking payments over the phone on a weekly basis.
  • Download and analyse weekly collection data from multiple sites with Management.
  • Assist with ad hoc customer and service-related tasks as required by Management.
  • Set up new customer accounts on our collection and invoicing system.
  • Monitor customer price lists and ensure competitiveness.
  • Cleanse customer accounts, removing duplicates and inactive profiles.
  • Reconcile customer account information on our databases.


Requirements


  • Knowledge of the agricultural sector is desirable.
  • Self-motivated with strong organisational skills.
  • Able to work individually or as part of a team.
  • Be able to prioritise workload.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience of working with CRM/invoicing is desirable.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Data entry/analysis experience.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role.
