Counselor Jobs

Counsel Me Vancouver is growing and is looking to add another member or two to the counselling team. Counsel Me Vancouver provides couples and individual counselling and strongly endorses the Gottman Method of relationship counselling as well as other modalities for individual needs.

Ideally, I’m looking for someone who has experience in working with individuals while couples work would be a bonus. It would also be very helpful if the successful candidate has experience in working with clients managing trauma, addictions, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, loss/grief, workplace stress, and eating disorders. Someone who provides CBT, EFT, Solution-Focused, Gestalt, and/or other modes of counselling would be an asset.

The successful candidate would be available to work Saturday, Sunday and/or evenings part-time with the option to work daytime hours during the week. How many client hours the candidate works will be negotiable. This is a contract type position and so each therapist carries their own liability insurance and handles their own Taxes and GST number. I provide the clients, bookkeeping, supervision and a scheduling platform with weekend access to a private office space. The pay is negotiated in an agreed upon percentage split. This position is not for someone already working in their own private practice.
