Head Camp Attendant - Sitka (Equest)

Civeo Pacific Northwest Employees LP is currently looking to fill a position for a Head Camp Attendant at our site located at Kitimat. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall hygienic conditions of the bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways, and laundry rooms. Reporting to the Head Camp Attendant, the successful candidate will work 14 days on and 7 days off rotation, which may include days, nights, weekend shifts, and statutory holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign rooms to the Camp Attendants and prepare night shift room lists
• Sanitizing washrooms including shower stalls, shower mats, sinks, toilets, and floor after each shift change
• Conduct the training program with the new hires
• Making beds and changing sheets as per the schedule
• Prepare morning briefings and lead safety meetings
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures by following company safe work practices and standard operating procedures
• Cleaning washers, dryers and laundry room, including the areas behind machines and removing lint from dryer after every cycle
• General cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing within cleaning target times
• Review and assign the Daily Room Allocation sheet and performs any special needs or requests that may arise day to day
• Inspect facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Assist with inventory as required
• Build, strengthen and maintain excellent communication skills with all members of staff
• Determine areas of improvement within housekeeping, quality and standards

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Previous supervisory experience is an asset
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Office Applications
• Current, valid First Aid certification is an asset
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, pull, push, and place objects away weighing up to 50lbs
