Camp Attendant

Falcon Camp Services Inc. is seeking an energetic and meticulous Camp Attendant to join our team. The candidate is required to maintain day to day general cleaning duties and to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekend and statutory holidays. They must also have the ability to work independently as well as in a fast-paced team environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Make beds and change sheets according to the established schedules.
• Sanitize washrooms including shower stalls, shower mats, sinks, toilets, and floor.
• Participate in Safety/Toolbox meetings and Hazard Identifications daily.
• Complete daily housekeeping paperwork.
• General cleaning duties of guest rooms, bathrooms, showers etc.
• Vacuum rooms & hallways.
• Empty garbage cans and take out trash.
• General cleaning duties of common areas: sweeping, mopping, dusting, windows.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Wash and fold laundry.

• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
• Maintain a positive attitude and have an outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage change effectively.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to work away from home in a camp environment.
• Must be neat, professional, and well-groomed.
• Physically fit & healthy for frequent standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling and lifting 50lbs.
• Must possess strong organizational and time management skills.

Qualifications & Certification

• First Aid, Standard/OFA 1 Certification is an asset
• A strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
• Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test required.
• Previous experience in a housekeeping position.
