Job Description

Established Real Estate Developer located in North York is seeking a professional, organized and engaging Corporate Receptionist and Junior Administrative Assistant to join their team. The Corporate Receptionist and Junior Administrative Assistant is responsible for answering and fielding phone calls, greeting guests, ordering office supplies, managing the boardrooms and database, and supporting the administrative staff as needed. The ideal candidate is proactive, positive and organized, has strong computer and interpersonal skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones promptly and uses good judgment to prioritize the distribution of messages in a timely manner
  • Maintains boardroom calendar meetings
  • Creates and modifies various documents, letters, and labels
  • Coordinates meetings, lunches and conference calls
  • Organizes and prepares expense reports
  • Performs general clerical duties to include but not limited to: data entry, photocopying, faxing, mail distribution, courier services and filing
  • Provides backup support to administrative staff
  • Greets guests professionally and provides refreshments


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to solve basic technical issues relating to printers, phones, computers
  • Intuitive, proactive and team oriented
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all members of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
