What You’ll Do

• Prepare monthly balance sheets reconciliations for assigned entities and rectify any discrepancies.
• Record entries relating to invoices & payment into the proper cost centers and legal entities, including inter-company transactions.
• Responsible for daily accounting functions of corporate entities and maintenance of accounting records.
• Support financial month-end close and other reporting requirements for corporate entities including financial statement and supporting schedule preparation.
• Maintain, monitor, and reconcile GL accounts including cash, bank reconciliations, AP, and intercompany accounts.
• Assist with billing and collections activities, including preparing invoices, recording customer payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
• Processing vendor invoices, verifying accuracy, and ensuring timely payments and liaising with different department for obtaining approval and supporting documents.
• Other ad hoc duties and projects as requested.

What You’ll Need

• Good communication skills both in oral and written form
• Demonstrate sound work ethics complimented with flexible work attitude.
• Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP (an asset).
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Business/Accounting Degree from an accredited college.
• Understanding of Microsoft Excel and experience with other Microsoft Office products
• Knowledge of basic accounting (debit and credit, journal entries etc.)
• Minimum 2-year relevant experience.
