  • – Contents /Cleaning Labourer**About Stutters*Stutters Restorations is a full-service restoration contractor specializing in insurance repair. Stutters was started as a small family business over 40 years ago and has grown to 6 offices throughout the south-central Interior of BC. Stutters has successfully completed every kind of restoration work imaginable; hospitals, schools, stores, restaurants, factories, libraries, laboratories, barns, apartment complexes, and private homes. We provide the highest standards of integrity, workmanship, and service by using the latest equipment and technology, and the most skilled individuals. At Stutters, we place an emphasis on our employees’ happiness, job satisfaction and success, and pride ourselves on our collaborative company culture.*Job Summary*Assist with the clean-up and inventory of homes and businesses following an emergency. Our Contents Labourer itemizes, and sorts contents, carefully packs and stores undamaged content, cleans and restores repairable contents, and then returns contents to the restored building or owner once rebuild construction is done.*Core Competencies** Comprehensive knowledge of hand and power tools, equipment and materials.* Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.* Work in protective clothing and respirator.* Familiar with workplace safety and safe lifting procedures.*Job Duties** Create an inventory of all contents within a home or business.* Professionally pack content into boxes and prepare larger items to be moved.* Clean content at site or at warehouse (according to Stutter’s cleaning protocols)* Clean internal and external structures as required.* Move, pack, inventory homeowner’s furniture and contents.* Assist in the final clean and resetting of contents in homes and business.* Follow instructions provided from the site supervisor.* Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.* Comply with federal and provincial laws regulating waste disposal methods.* Deliver, load, and unload materials.
