Staging Assistant Jobs

We are hiring! Our busy home staging company is hiring a staging assistant. If you have a love for home decor, real estate and a keen interest in design we should talk. We are based in Newmarket, but work all throughout the GTA. This is a part-time, occasional work. We stage Monday to Friday, no weekends. Our staging days typically start at 8 or 9 a.m. and ends around 2 or 3 p.m. The number of days you will work in a given week will vary based on how many jobs we have at that time. There is no set work schedule. Some weeks/months are busier than others. Slow times typically include December and August. We pay $25 an hour. Our inventory storage is based in Newmarket, so the ideal candidate lives in the area as we will spend a lot of time packing, unloading and restocking there.

Requirements:

-you have an interest in design

-you are organized, efficient, fun and able to work as part of a team

-you are able to lift at least 30 LBS up and down stairs if required

-you are not afraid of physically demanding work (we pack and lug bins of lamps, accessories, bedding, rugs, pillows, plants etc into and out of homes, condos)

-you are happy to learn on the job

-you have your own car and a valid driver’s license

-you show up on time and are reliable

-steaming bedding is not beneath you

-you are comfortable driving into and around Toronto to various job sites
