Complade | Full Time Director Of Audit And Certification

As the Director of Certification and Audit for our newly established Information Security Certification body, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to manage all certification and auditing activities, providing strategic direction, and ensuring the highest standards of integrity and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including the CyberSecure Canada certification scheme and ISO 27001/27002 standards.

Responsibilities

1. Provide strategic oversight and direction for all certification and auditing activities.
2. Manage a team of certification managers and auditors, ensuring effective execution of the certification process.
3. Ensure that all certification and auditing activities comply with relevant regulations and standards, including the CyberSecure Canada certification scheme and ISO 27001/27002 standards.
4. Collaborate with the Managing Director and other key stakeholders to align certification and auditing activities with the organization's strategic goals.
5. Address any certification or auditing related issues promptly and professionally.
6. Maintain a thorough understanding of the CyberSecure Canada certification scheme and ISO 27001/27002 standards.
7. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients and stakeholders.
8. Provide strategic insights on the certification process to the top management, and contribute to the organization's overall strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor) are preferable.
• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within an Information Security Certification body (minimum 7 years).
• Based in Canada.
• Strong understanding of the CyberSecure Canada certification scheme and ISO 27001/27002 standards.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Degree in Business Administration, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
