Senior Bookkeeper (Full Time, Working From Home)

Our company is looking for an experienced Senior bookkeeper to assist in managing our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, is reliable and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines.

Functions

• Organize and update financial records as needed (digital and physical)
• Coordinate with CPA
• Brief senior managers regularly on the company’s financial status
• Coordinate with accounting firm for year ends
• Build financial reporting and dashboard
• Capable of reviewing financials for accuracy
• Manage all gov't fillings
• Forecast Revenue and analyze profit margins
• Liaise with Tax Accountants to track tax payments and returns
• Supervise and coordinate with back office bookkeeping team
• Capable of implementing systems and processes to streamline all accounting work

Requirements

• Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
• Previous Bookkeeping experience
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Able to work Full Time in our offices
• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
• Advanced MS Excel knowledge (familiarity with formulas, VLOOKUPs and pivot tables) + Google Sheets,
• Experience with accounting software QuickBooks
• Able to work autonomously.
• EN/ FR Language
• Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial procedures
