Job Description
CNC Machine Operator


Amherst, NS


We are currently looking for CNC Machine Operators to join our client's team in Amherst, NS. You will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects, while growing with the company.


Shifts: Four 10-hour evening shifts weekly, starting at 4:00PM.


Pay Rate: Competitive, will depend on experience.


Start Date: July 20, 2023


Responsibilities


  • Clean and maintain workspace.
  • Complete and maintain inspection records.
  • Read and Interpret blueprints.
  • Operate CNC machines for projects involving but not limited to milling and tuning, programming, engineering, assembly, etc.
  • Document and report deviations


Requirements


  • Five years minimum of CNC experience is required.
  • Maintain equipment and trouble shoot machine as required.
  • Inspect, verify material and dimensions of various parts.
  • Run breakdowns on the machine as per schedule.
  • Inspect, verify gauges, and approve raw material for use.
