Content Cleaner

Saint John, NB

We are looking for a Content Cleaner to join our client's team in Fredericton, NB. You will be working with the largest Canadian disaster recovery and property restoration company for residential and commercial properties. They offer more services and solutions for property damage caused by water, fire, storms or mold than any recovery company in Canada.

Available Shifts: Days, Evenings and Weekends

Rate of Pay: $16.00 - $18.00/hour

Start Date: August 16th, 2023

Responsibilities

• Removing and disposing of debris
• Vehicle safety and maintenance inspections
• Setting and maintaining equipment
• Maintaining vehicles in clean, serviceable condition

Requirements

• Basic computer and/or tablet/iPad experience
• Decontamination
• Real, sentimental and historical evaluation
• Ability to work within a team or independently as needed
• Recognition of common objects and materials
• Driver's Abstract required
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per Company's vehicle policy
• Willing to work evenings, on call and weekends when requested
• Working knowledge of restoration industry best contents practices including:
• Restoration following fire and water loss
• Familiarity with chemical cleaning products including safety data sheets
• Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• IICRC certification (Fire and Smoke and/or Odor Control and/or Water Damage) an asset
• Degradation factors
• Construction/ Restoration/ Insurance experience an asset
• Periodic travel may be required
