POSITION: CNC Machine Operator
LOCATION: Dollard-des-Ormeaux
SALARY: $23.00 - $29.00 depending on experience
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM
POSITION TYPE: Full time

Responsibilities

• Stop the machines when problems arise;
• Apply health and safety rules within the department;
• Set up and operate CNC machines for the manufacture of diamond tools;
• Prepare and load the parts on the machines;
• Understand the specifications of the task to be performed and the desired result by reading plans, mechanical drawings, etc.;
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment!
• Be sure to monitor operations to determine if adjustments are necessary;
• Inspect and measure parts to ensure surfaces and dimensions meet specifications;
• Translate instructions into computer commands so that machines can perform the correct function;

Qualifications

• Ability to use CNC machines and tools, as well as precision measuring tools;
• Mechanical aptitude and good mathematical skills;
• Love manual work and ability to work with his hands;
• Ability to frequently lift, push and pull loads;
• Bilingual
• Experience in the field of stone cutting, an asset;
• Own steel-toed boots!
• Machining diploma (DEP) or equivalent, an asset;
