Your primary responsibilities will include:


A temporary contract position with the possibility of converting to a permanent full-time role in September 2023.


As the first point of contact, the Client Services Coordinator will be the face of Baker Tilly GWD. You provide first impressions, embody the firm’s values and confidently assist our external and internal clients.


  • Assisting with building maintenance and operational issues
  • Calendar management and scheduling meetings
  • Other general administrative duties
  • Ensure boardrooms, reception and common areas are tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and supplies
  • Supports continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and opportunities for improvement
  • Managing the flow of client information in and out of the office
  • Administering client payments and bank deposits
  • Screening and redirecting client inquiries, gauging the urgency and escalation requirement
  • Managing the front desk including the switchboard, incoming and outgoing mail, client greetings and hospitality
  • Reviewing client documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Managing office file room, directories, equipment and telecommunications systems
  • Ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory of stock


A successful candidate will have:


  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • College or university qualification
  • Tech savvy and proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Professional manner and corporate presentation
  • Sound judgment regarding confidential and sensitive matters
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively pivot between tasks while maintaining focus
  • Ability to prioritize and manage deliverables, adhering to time constraints
  • Proactive self-starter with a can-do attitude
  • Experience working in a corporate or professional services environment
  • Comfortable working onsite and standard operating hours from 8:30am to 5:00pm
