Client Services Associate Jobs

The Associate, Client Service and Business Development position contributes to the success of the company’s client service and business development activities by providing administrative support to the Institutional Client Service / Business Development team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Marketing team for PowerPoint presentation enhancements, changes, and updates.
• Participate in the training of new colleagues.
• Coordinate with Marketing team to discuss quarterly trends in the Institutional marketplace.
• Collaborate with members of the Client Service team on common projects (special events, process enhancements, etc.) and provide back-up to other Associates when necessary.
• Prepare customized presentation decks for client and prospect meetings and ensure reports are sent out in a timely manner.
• Coordinate Satuit enhancements with IT staff.
• Establish a strong collaborative relationship with peers by proactively sharing useful information and ideas to enhance efficiencies.
• Complete Ad hoc requests as required.
• Record and update client and prospect contacts and maintain mailing lists in the CRM System (Satuit).
• Liaise with Marketing regarding upcoming events, thought pieces, and announcements to bring an Institutional perspective.
• Become familiar with Beutel Goodman’s investment approach and the firm strategy.
• Run data sets in Satuit, IC Research and Dakota for Relationship Managers.
• Assist with compliance reviews.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in business or finance and general knowledge of financial industry
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• 1-3 years of financial services experience considered an asset
• CFA level 1 considered an asset
• Proficiency in CRM Satuit database, eVestment, IC Research and Dakota Marketplace considered an asset
