POSITION SUMMARY
Dentons Canada LLP is seeking a Coordinator, Client Development to join our team and support the profile and client development efforts of our practices and lawyers.
With a personal passion for growth and business development, the Coordinator will support multiple projects and priorities and execute tasks aimed at growing our business. An understanding of the complexities of a matrixed environment is beneficial. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a team that will shape the future of Dentons Canada.
- Update web and print marketing collateral related to the practice, industry, or initiative
- Support for other key initiatives within the Client Development Team
- Other duties as assigned
- Coordinate the preparation of directory submissions, including information sourcing, data gathering, and follow-up
- Track and follow up on group and lawyer initiatives to keep priorities moving forward
- Support the submission process for league tables, within assigned groups
- Support the development of pitches and other collateral for new business opportunities and client meetings
- Support the client development team and select practice and sector groups, and play a role in executing business development and marketing plans, including profile-building activities
- Prepare client reports by gathering and compiling error free information
- Support the production and distribution of thought leadership and collateral material
REQUIREMENTS
- Creative, enthusiastic and results-driven team-player who can work collaboratively with local and national multidisciplinary teams
- Highly professional approach at all times
- Demonstrated commitment to privacy and ethical conduct
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, business development and/or events, experience working in a professional services environment preferred
- Must be proficient working with the entire Microsoft Office Suite; experience with InterAction or a similar CRM database is an asset
- Self-motivated and proactive, as well as independent and capable of working with minimum supervision
- Recognition of the significant impact that decisions have on the organization’s public image, internal operations, services or programs and corporate objectives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate with external contacts and individuals at all levels of the organization
- Superior organizational and project management skills—ability to multi-task; prioritize and organize deliverables; work under pressure; and work with multifaceted, complex projects
