Our Kamloops Flat Deck division is currently hiring Company Drivers and Lease Operators! For this position, you will start work in either Kamloops or in the Okanagan. As an Arrow driver, you will be hauling products that are directly related to building the economic growth in beautiful Western Canada. You will travel on various highways in Western Canada (ie. included but not limited to Hwy 1, Coquihalla - Hwy 5, Hwy 97, Hwy 16).

• Record, Maintain and Check all relevant paperwork (i.e. bill of lading,) and documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
• Preferences given to those with B train and mountain driving experience
• Operate equipment such as truck cab computers, CB radios, and telephones to exchange necessary information with bases, supervisors, or other drivers.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Ensure that all customers, co-workers and the public are dealt with professionally and with respect.
• A positive attitude
• At least two job references
• Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, load securement, driver's hours of service, occupational health and safety, transportation of dangerous goods, and weights and dimensions.
• Complete electronic logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status.
• Driver's abstract with no suspensions
• Oversee cargo handling and secure loads, including equipment preparation, application of safe practices, compliance with applicable Acts and Regulations.
• Class 1 truck driver’s license
• Perform pre and post and en route trip inspections on equipment operated, ensuring safety, roadworthiness and regulatory compliance.

We are looking for General Labourers at our Ingerbelle compost facility located at Mine Hill Brake Check 20km south of Princeton, BC.

As an Arrow General Labourer at our Ingerbelle Compost Facility, your responsibilities will include

• Solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
• Raking, shoveling, picking up garbage as needed
• Cleaning the shop, tools, and compost facility infrastructure as needed.
• Perform daily site assessments, including identification of potential work site hazards.
• Running errands for the site including sending mail and picking up materials for site from the town of Princeton.
• Operating hand tools as directed.
• Previous general labour experience is an asset
• Supporting equipment operators as needed.
• Quality oriented and strong attention to detail
• Strong safety mindset
• Cleaning inside the office and lunchroom as needed.
• Assisting with taking compost temperatures and pile monitoring and recording data.
• Work in adherence to all safe work practices, procedures as well as all regulatory requirements
• Experience working at a mine site is an asset
• Manual labour, cleaning various equipment and abject workspaces including using an air compressor and shovel to clean out areas.
• Valid drivers license (Class 5 or Class 7N)
• Other tasks as needed and requested by the lead hand and project manager.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions (snow, rain, sub-freezing temps, heat, wind)
