Class 1 Delivery Driver - Prince George, Bc - Full Time

Reporting to the Transportation Supervisor, this position is responsible to perform truck driving duties as required and complete deliveries to our stores in the Prince George and Vanderhoof region. This position is ideally located in Prince George.

Hourly compensation starts at $32.14 (plus applicable premiums) and benefits coverage from day 1. The hourly rate follows Step increases, leading to increase in the rates at pre-defined intervals of time during the employment tenure.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Safely operating on-board truck computers
• Performing Pre/Post- trip inspections to ensure THI fleet standards are met
• Completing all appropriate regulatory and Company documentation
• Completing Tim Hortons restaurant deliveries while operating Company equipment in a safe and professional manner at all times
• At restaurant level, verifying accuracy of food order, and assisting with off-loading of product into the restaurant
• Following food safety procedures
• Handling inquires and or concerns from owners/customers professionally
• Responsible for yard/cleaning duties as required

Required Skills:

• Mountain and winter driving experience is preferred
• Experience with 18 Speed Manual Transmission Trucks (we do have some of them) is preferred
• Class 1 License and Clean Driver's Abstract to be provided at the time of interview
• Ability and willingness to work in marked temperature changes
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs.)
• High level of interpersonal and relationship building skills, customer focused
