HOURS OF WORK

• Typically 40 hours/week, with opportunity for overtime
• Four 10-hour days (between Monday-Saturday) with 3 days off per week
• Early morning hours

Qualifications

• Embodies quality, safety, and customer service
• Has great attention to detail
• Class 1 license with clean drivers abstract
• Good understanding of the roads in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley
• Physically fit – you will be doing heavy lifting for extended periods of time in a fast-paced work environment
• Airbrakes Certification required
• Should have reliable transportation as transit service may be unable during shift schedules
• Pass physical test and criminal background check

Quick Overview Of Responsibilities

• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas. May include transporting product down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions.
• Keeping an accurate and up to date logbook as well as operate assigned STS unit to generate invoices. Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures.
• Deliver product within assigned route schedule and time windows.
• Additional duties as required.
• Performing necessary pre and post trip inspections and report any vehicle maintenance issues

LOCATION

Our main warehouse is located on Westshore Pkwy - 5 minutes from Langford Lake and Goldstream Park with satellite yards in Duncan, Nanaimo, Comox, Campbell River, Port Alberni, Port Hardy and Powell River.
