Automotive Service Technician (Prince George)

Fountain Tire Prince George, an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe and dedicated associates to join our team as an Automotive Service Technician.

Pay Upto $45/hour + production bonus!

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Diagnose, repair and complete service on customer vehicles as directed by work orders
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe
• Advise customers and customer-facing Associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements
• Pride in the work you've done keeping your customers safe and on the road, site or field!
• Complete and maintain a variety of safety courses including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards
• Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• Operate company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner

Working conditions

• This role requires nearly constant standing, crouching or kneeling
• A team environment where hard work, concise communication and clear heads are rewarded
• This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc and we need someone who will be up for the challenge
• Consistent lifting of weights of approximately 25KG is required

Qualifications

• A team player who takes pride in their work
• Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must
• 3 Years of experience required - Red Seal certification required
• Registered Journeyman Automotive Service Technician
• A valid driver's license is a must. We also need to see that you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory driver's abstract
