Apprentice Automotive Service Technician (Ladner)

Compensation $20 - $24/hour, based on experience

Primary Responsibilities

• Complete specialty tire work, which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Maintain tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• Pride in the work you've done keeping your customers safe and on the road!
• Install, balance, and rotate passenger, light truck, tires and wheels
• Complete and maintain a variety of safety courses including GHS, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards

Working conditions

• Consistent lifting of weights of approximately 55lbs without assistance is required
• A team environment where hard work, concise communication and clear heads are rewarded
• This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc and we need someone who will be up for the challenge
• This role requires standing, crouching or kneeling

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Tire Technician is an asset
• Excellent customer service skills and a great attitude are essential
• A valid driver's license is a must. We also need to see that you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory driver's abstract
