Overview An Automotive Technician Apprentice is a person who is in the process of learning the skills and knowledge necessary to become a qualified Automotive Technician. The apprentice will work under the supervision of a qualified Automotive Technician, and will be responsible for performing basic maintenance and repair tasks on vehicles. Detailed Job Description The Automotive Technician Apprentice will be responsible for performing basic maintenance and repair tasks on vehicles, such as changing oil, replacing spark plugs, and checking fluid levels. The apprentice will also be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical problems on vehicles, as well as performing basic bodywork and painting. The apprentice will be expected to keep accurate records of all work performed, and to follow all safety procedures and regulations. Job Skills Required
