This facility will revolutionize our industry and redefine the way products are manufactured. Brunel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil, Structural, and Architectural Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team.

As a Civil, Structural, and Architectural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of this construction project. You will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the integrity, safety, and efficiency of all civil, structural, and architectural aspects of the project. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of a cutting-edge facility that will shape the future of this industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural calculations and analysis to ensure the stability, load-bearing capacity, and safety of the building structures.
• Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality materials, equipment, and services.
• Address and resolve any technical issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction phase, working closely with the construction team to find practical and efficient solutions.
• Develop and implement comprehensive engineering strategies, plans, and designs for civil, structural, and architectural components of the giga factory project.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents, adhering to industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, construction managers, and project stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration of civil, structural, and architectural elements into the overall project plan.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including design modifications, RFIs (Requests for Information), and change orders, to ensure a transparent and organized project record.
• Conduct thorough site investigations, including surveys and assessments, to gather relevant data for design development and identify any potential challenges or risks.
• Monitor construction progress, conduct site visits, and perform quality inspections to verify compliance with design specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with sustainability and environmental teams to implement eco-friendly design strategies and incorporate energy-efficient systems into the giga factory.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within specified timelines.
• In-depth knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations relevant to civil, structural, and architectural design.
• Professional licensure or certification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architecture is preferred.
• Proven experience in managing civil, structural, and architectural aspects of large-scale construction projects, preferably within industrial or manufacturing sectors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges.
• Proficiency in using industry-standard design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, or similar.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architecture. A dual degree in Civil Engineering and Architecture is highly desirable.
• Flexibility to travel and work at the construction site as required.
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices and green building certifications, such as LEED, would be advantageous.
