Consider building codes, safety standards, architectural plans, and client requirements while contributing to the design process.
  3. Rough Cost Estimation: Support the team by providing rough cost estimates for structural components and materials based on the proposed designs. Consider factors such as quantity, quality, market prices, and project specifications. Contribute to cost-effective solutions and identify potential cost-saving measures.
  4. Structural Drawings Validation: Collaborate with the team to review and validate structural drawings, including plans, sections, details, and specifications. Ensure compliance with engineering principles, codes, and regulations. Identify and propose modifications or improvements to enhance accuracy and safety.
  5. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project. Communicate technical concepts, recommendations, and solutions effectively to ensure successful project outcomes. Foster a collaborative environment and contribute to multidisciplinary teamwork.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a focus on Structural Engineering.
  • Knowledge and understanding of load-bearing calculations, rough structural design, rough cost estimation, and structural drawings validation.
  • Familiarity with applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex structural challenges.
