Chief Of Venture Development

Our client in the capital market in Saudi Arabia is looking for an experienced Chief of Venture Development for their growing organization. The role is reporting to the CEO directly and it is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and the full relocation package will be provided for the interested candidates.

This position will provide vision, leadership, general management, and overview for the Venture Development including Product development, Project management, Product commercialization, modeling, development and monetization to meet the innovation strategic objectives.

Job Requirements

• Build partnerships & run investment processes to meet the strategic objectives of the whole organization.
• Develop the division's strategy in line with the company's strategy to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal incorporation with other interfacing divisional strategies across the enterprise.
• Support the company's business goals by ensuring adherence to the OpEx and CapEx that are allocated in the budget for the division.
• Valuation of new ventures, and define future path of partnership / ventures
• Initial discussion to acquire, invest in, or partner with, another entity or business that can provide the required capabilities and/or market access
• Identify new business ideas, realize opportunities and future growth, and end-to-end sales process ownership
• Drive strategy development and business planning exercises to ensure the fulfillment of the Company's vision, mission, and values with an experimental mindset to drive innovation.
• Develop plans to solve challenges in the pursuit of strategic objectives.
• Focusing on converting a vision into reality and executing strategies while running the daily business activities.
• Lead and direct management change through continuous improvement of departmental systems, processes, and practices, taking into account international practices, standards, and changes in the business environment that demand proactive action plans.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in products development and technology solutions
• Negotiating complex legal, commercial and contractual terms and relationships
• A bachelor's degree in their respective field and a Master's Degree in a finance-related field or MBA are required.
• Previous Customer Relationship and Supplier Management experience is required
• Prior experience in managing departmental and project budgets and revenue/singing targets
• Working at a strategic level within capital markets and/or Fintech/Startup sectors having both experiences is definitely a
• Senior-level past experience in the technology and business/commercial development space
• Experience in UI/UX, user-oriented product design, Agile, R&D and work-practices
