Title: Campus Growth and Engagement Intern

Location: Vancouver, B.C., Canada

Hinbor, an innovative platform focused on fostering community interaction, is seeking several driven Campus Growth and Engagement Interns in Vancouver for our UBC and SFU campuses. We are on a mission to revolutionize neighborly interaction through food and community building, positioning ourselves as a "LinkedIn for Neighbors."

After successful launches at UBC, SFU, and the University of Washington, we are also expanding our presence in California.

Responsibilities:

• Campus Engagement and Vendor Acquisition: Establish connections with potential vendors and student groups at UBC/SFU, and identify new business opportunities.
• Marketing and User Acquisition: Develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns to enhance our brand visibility on campus and acquire new users. Activities may include social media marketing, hosting booths, organizing promotional events, and more.
• Feedback and Iteration: Collect and analyze user feedback, and participate in brainstorming sessions for app improvements and iterations.
• Data Analysis: Leverage data from MixPanel and Google Analytics to improve marketing campaigns, boost user retention, and cultivate user habits.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable with cold outreach, able to initiate new business relationships and engage potential app users effectively.
• Strong creative execution in marketing and branding.
• Familiarity with student groups on campus.
• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Passion for community building and neighborhood initiatives.
