Our public sector client is seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a 6 month contract. See details below
Client: Public sector
Duration: 6 months
Location: Remote in Alberta with preference for Edmonton
Pay rate: Negotiable
Scope:
IT BSA currently has a shortage of Business Systems Analyst resources. To achieve corporate objectives, the organization requires BSA contracting services to support new and existing software. The BSA’s objective is to complete assigned tasks as directed by the Applications Development and Maintenance team manager.
  • Educate business stakeholders and clients regarding system changes and introduction of new features.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of their system and business needs.
  • Developing detailed user stories and business requirements documentation.
  • Troubleshooting production issues

Qualifications
Expected Skills and Abilities:
  • 5-7 years of experience as a BSA.
  • Agile Methodology
  • Experience working with Web Applications.
  • Works independently with minimal supervision.
  • Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • Understanding of best practice, methods, and standards for software development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience executing SQL queries.
Desirable Skills and Abilities:
  • SQL Server Experience
