Business Systems Analyst Senior

Our client, the City of Calgary requires a Business Systems Analyst for a 12 months contract with possible extension. .
require a senior Business/system analyst with industry proven experience in requirements gathering, analysis, design and implementation software solutions. Resource responsibilities will be: requirements gathering, business/technical analysis, and project planning and estimating.

This position requires individuals with excellent communication and inter-personal skills along with the ability to work independently and as part of a diversified team. This individual must have the ability to develop trusted relationships and demonstrate innovation / initiative with a focus on customer service. The Business/system analyst - Senior will coordinate with other IT resources, external vendors, other project and City business unit stakeholders to implement solutions following the Policies, Processes and Project Methodologies.
Qualifications
Essential

• Eight (8) years' experience in software package application implementations (Cloud and on Premise) and system development projects.
• .Five (5) years’ experience in RFI/RFP for software solutions;
• .Eight (8) years' experience in Software Development Methodologies;
• .Eight (8) years experience collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy;
• Eight (8) years recent experience working in the role of a Business/System Analyst;
• Eight (8) years' experience in documenting requirements and other project required artifacts including architecture and database design documents and operation guides

Desired

• Experience in project management, planning, reporting and estimating.
• Experience with Microsoft Visio
• Previous work experience in the public sector or large organizations;
• Experience with information/Cyber security business areas
