Business Consultant - Wealth Management

Apex Systems is a global IT services provider and our staffing practice has an opening for a Business Consultant with experience with finance/resource forecasting, preparing/helping present PowerPoints, Agile experience, and some background experience in the Wealth Management domain to place at our client, a Big Five Bank in Toronto.

Client: Big Five Bank

Terms: 3-month contract (1-year extension high likelihood of extension)

Location: Currently hybrid (1-2 days downtown)

Key Qualifications:

• Experience with Jira
• Domain knowledge of the financial industry - specifically Wealth Management
• Experience with stakeholder management
• Desired Traits: Organized, skilled communicator, good problem solver, curious, driven, empathetic
• Experience with the SDLC cycle and project delivery in Agile Methodology
• 3-10 Years of BA/Project Coordinator experience
• Experience working closely with the technical teams through the project
• Experience working on IT projects
• Strong experience in PPT, and delivering project updates

Job Responsibilities:

• Reporting on each projects utility upon the uptake of outputs.
• Take part in smaller project requirement gathering
• Prepping Project presentations in PPTs and aiding in presentation delivery with Senior Management
• Consulting with the assigned Project Manager to seek guidance and input during the key phase of each project.
• Evaluating each projects effectiveness by consulting with clients, consumers, and staff.
• Identifying needs that can be successfully addressed by projects.
• Outlining the human and material resources required to successfully complete each project.
• Developing new project plans in consultation with stakeholders, including clients and staff.
• Monitoring staff performance to ensure excellence and adherence to specified deadlines.
• Formulating a resource allocation strategy, and utilizing this to distribute work and finances for forecasting
