SALARY: 88k-99k


SHIFT: Mon- Fri ( 9am to 5pm)


Hybrid: 3 day in office and 2 day from home.

ROLE SUMMARY:


The role of the Brand Manager is to develop & execute the overarching Two Brand Strategy i.e. Mill St Brewery and Brickwork Ciderhouse. This role oversees a wide array of business functions, all laddering up to growing Brand Equity with the brand's target audience. From developing new Innovation concepts, to executing a Paid Media Campaign, the Brand Manager is hyper-focused on solving consumer-centric problems.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manage calendar of beer releases at brewpubs; including project management of timelines. Develop supporting materials for brewpubs and sales team, execute initiatives to build awareness for beer releases. Ensure recommendation are based on strategic rationale and business or market performance.
  • Annual Brand Programs – develop and execute integrated brand programs – (i.e. Consumer Promotions, media promotions, partnerships, etc.) to increase brand awareness and sales on a national basis based on consumer behaviors, insights and market analysis
  • Support the VP marketing in creating consumer programs for the LCBO and other liquor boards across Canada
  • Develop creative briefs to guide creative elements with agency partners as required.
  • Lead and execute all new product launches, including packaging development and launch plans for all new beers.
  • Support the VP Marketing in developing long term strategy for portfolio
  • Develop and execute training programs about brand for new employees across all functions
  • Lead Website and consumer engagement strategy and execution. Be active in managing our social channels on a daily basis
  • Support the VP marketing in developing annual brand marketing campaigns in omni channel
  • Selling Tools - Identify, develop, and maintain sales toolkit (i.e. sales folder, sell sheets, online marketing portal, brand presentations, brand assets, beer guide etc.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Demonstrates a passion for all things craft beer and specifically Mill Street.
  • The ability to work with a multi-disciplined team. Strong ability to build and influence interpersonal relationships.
  • Must be a self-starter!
  • Excellent understanding of social media
  • A Minimum of 3 years brand marketing experience ideally in a beer/alcohol environment with a proven track record of results.
  • Strong analytical skills. Ability to derive insights from consumer research and analysis
  • Possesses a ‘can do’ attitude with a defined and urgent bias for action.
  • Has completed at minimum the level 1 Cicerone program.
  • University degree in business or related field
  • Creativity is in your DNA. Design is a passion.
  • Strong problem solving skills and the initiative to adapt and overcome in the face of adversity.
  • Possesses outstanding time management and multi-tasking capability.
