Bookkeeper/Office Manager

My client is a boutique investment firm that specializes in investing in land and property development projects. They are actively searching for a Bookkeeper/Office Manager to work out of their midtown Toronto office for a 4 day work week opportunity. This position comes with a salary of $50-$55k, plus benefits, 3 weeks paid vacation and other time off for the jewish holidays. They are looking for someone who has experience with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and is very comfortable with Quickbooks and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities include:

• Office support where needed ie. reception duties, banking and running errands
• Pull together YE documents for multiple companies
• Calculate payroll deductions and set up on spreadsheets for A/P clerk
• Prepare and file GST/HST returns online
• Prepare and file T4 and T4 Summaries
• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Input data into QuickBooks for multiple sets of books
• Set up federal tax payments on spreadsheets for A/P clerk

Requirements:

• Excellent organization skills
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Attention to detail
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel programs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Salary and Benefits:

• $50-$55k

Please note this is an in office role 4 days per week.
