Experienced Bookkeepers/Accountants required for a growing accounting firm. 777 Eccounting Systems offers bookkeeping and accounting services to all industries. The firm offers a competitive salary and provides a health spending program at no cost to the employee.
The ideal candidate must be committed to maintaining, developing and performing the following duties:
Payroll processing and payment of payroll liabilities
Filing and paying GST and PST returns
Review work of employees doing basic data entry
Accounting month end closing procedures
Financial statement understanding and review
Direct communication with clients, understanding issues and coming up with solutions
Required Education and Experience
Some formal education in accounting – college certificate program or similar program
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a bookkeeping or accounting related position
Knowledge / experience with Quickbooks (Xero and Sage also an asset)
Working knowledge of Excel
Excellent communication skills
Positive attitude
Commitment to learning new and advanced programs
Customer service driven
Ability to manage and train other employees
