Automation Engineer Jobs

The Automation Engineer position will be responsible for reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will implement, troubleshoot and monitor machining programming and robotic repairs. This is an on-site role, and you must have strong leadership qualities. To be considered for this role, you must have completed a program in electrical or mechanical technology, have a minimum of five years of experience in PLC and robotic repair/programming, and have completed courses in machine manufacturing.

Your performance expectations will include analyzing machines, investigating mechanical failures, researching the design, operation, and components of systems, supervising your team and inspecting their work, including installation and modifications of mechanical systems, implementing and designing PLC, Ultraware, Panel Builder, and Profile Buss Programs, and planning and managing projects, preparing material, cost, and timing estimates to customers.

You should also possess a thorough comprehension of electrical/electronic schematic diagrams, blueprints, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and have the ability to decide on appropriate measuring tools, methods, and standards of equipment to use for projects.
