Assistant Steam Chief Jobs

Opportunity exists immediately for safety committed Assistant Steam Chief, reporting to the Steam Chief, to oversee our Operational Area.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop monthly and annual production plans
• Ensure that the business activities and individual with the area of responsibility adhere to the organization’s Health, Safety and Environment policies, procedures and mandatory instructions; to safeguard the environment, protect the wellbeing of individuals and minimize business risk.
• Identify and communicate the actions needed to implement the functions’ strategy and business plan.
• Develop new methods, tools and programs for quality assurance.
• Track budget and report variances to senior colleagues.
• Work within established audit control systems to deliver specified outcomes or provide general support.
• Develop work schedules that enable the organization to achieve business goals
• Produce, update and provide best practice support on complex MS documents, databases and other departmental systems, advising colleagues when needed.
• Identify shortcomings in existing manufacturing processes, systems, and procedures.

Education And Experience

• 2nd Class Power Engineer certificate preferred
• Experience of supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes (13 months to 3 years).
• Substantial general work experience together with comprehensive job related experience in own area of expertise fully competent level. (Over 6 years to 10 years).
• 3rd Class with 3 papers toward a second will be considered
