Reporting to the Director of Operations, Donvito Collision & Glass is currently looking for aAssistant OperationsManagerto join their team.

The Assistant Operations Manager is Responsible For:

• Administering preventative maintenance program for all equipment and tools and making improvement recommendations to management.
• Building capability of the team through coaching and encouraging learning from others.
• Keeping up-to-date with new techniques and materials, and facilitating training for all appropriate personnel.
• Tracking key numbers to monitor quality, productivity and costs.
• Directing the Quality Control process and supervising the implementation of systems to assure the prevention of quality problems and ongoing quality appraisal.
• Communicating due date goals to technicians daily, and coordinating information flow between the office and the production floor.
• Breaking down repair orders by department and task assigns work to the appropriate technician.
• Developing and overseeing the weekly and daily scheduling of work through the collision center.
• Directing the movement of vehicles through the collision center and assigning work to the technicians in the most productive manner.

You and Your Experience:

• You have strong problem-solving and decision making skills.
• You are a strong leader with hands on management experience.
• Post-secondary education in a related field would be an asset.
• You are detail oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• You have previous experience within the collision repair business.
