- Evaluating: conduct daily/weekly ongoing evaluation using the Performance Tools to share informal and formal feedback for continuous improved performance
- Scheduling: live management of the schedule to react to business trends and manage payroll costs
- Analyze and review all store sales reports and action to maximize sales opportunities
- Ensure all store staff follow ladder safety policy
- Maintain accurate store inventory including movements, processing damages, mismates, and investigating negative on hands
- Follow, understand and execute all inventory handling procedures in a timely manner, including consolidations, recalls, markdowns and shipment receiving
- Loss Prevention& Security: follow all operating and cash management policies& procedures to protect store assets and minimize loss, including proper administration
- Maintain Health& Safety Standards:
- Follow all health& safety standards to maintain a safe work environment for all staff and customers, including submitting incident reports as required
- Keep all areas of the store organized, including stockrooms, POP storage, bathrooms, and store administration
- Set up all areas of the store such as stockrooms, cash desks, communication boards and operational binders to standard
- Effective email management to share relevant corporate and store information with the store team
- Participate in management and store meetings to align the team on sales and operational objectives and achieve budgets
- Maintain all staff communication boards with current and up-to-date information
- Measures of Performance: Store Sales Results, Store Inventory Results, Health& Safety Audit Results, Incident Reports, Discrepancy Reports, Store Visit Report
- Leverage all customer services to build further loyalty by capturing every customer e-mail to build Benefeet database and offering GEOX@Home where necessary
- Ensure every team member delivers the GEOX Service Model in every customer interaction in a friendly, helpful and sincere way that results in an exceptional shopping experience
- Lead by example
- Resolve customer service discrepancies in a positive and professional manner for a win/win outcome
- Uphold physical store maintenance standards in order to create a functional, safe, clean and brand propelling store environment
- Ensure store visual standards are adapted to react to the business results while preserving brand integrity
- Uphold brand presentation by maintaining visual standards at all times
- Ensure all corporate visual directives are read, understood and applied by all staff
- Facilitate all staff learning to confidently and passionately interact with every customer
- Knowledgeable in communicating all aspects of product including store collections, best sellers and seasonal product trends
- Passionate and knowledgeable of all GEOX technologies, products and patents
- Strong computer and system skills– proficiency in Microsoft Excel and POS system
- Knowledgeable of business and financial concepts- understand key retail performance metrics, and can connect results to business decisions and personal work tasks
- Solid people management& interpersonal skills– proven ability to coach staff to increase sales performance& further retail career development
- Organizational skills - can manage multiple tasks to meet objectives and critical deadlines; able to execute to plan.
- Strong quantitative analytical skills: can extract and interpret information to justify business decisions
