Job Description
Driving Banff Gondola Food and Beverage outlets to world class dining destinations


  • Demonstrate positive body posture and language
  • Develop consistency within NL & CMCC offerings
  • Ensure effective reporting to Food and Beverage Manager and communication to greater team
  • Understanding of financial statements, and forecasting with an ability to control expenses

  • Proven track record in maintaining a high level of standards within the organization on and off the floor

  • Daily inspections on cleanliness and organization

  • Diploma/ Degree within Hospitality focusing in Food and Beverage is an asset

Front Desk Agents / Receptionists ensure guests receive the best service possible from our properties. They provide guests with their requested room, address their needs, and resolve any complaints they may have throughout their stay.


  • Learn the Night Audit procedures.
  • Process guests’ departures, calculate charges and receive payment
  • Process group arrivals and departures
  • Knowledge of languages is considered an asset
  • Pleasing, outgoing personality
  • Arrange services required for guests with special needs
  • Typing skills an asset
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
  • Learn the Emergency Response Manual thoroughly
  • Ability to accept direction
  • Refer major guest complaints to Hotel Manager or Front Desk Supervisor
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, and local points of interest
  • Knowledge of computers, will train
  • Process telephone calls
  • Ability to work within a Team

  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms
  • Neat and clean in appearance and work habits
  • Perform related Front Desk duties as directed by Supervisor
  • Resolve minor guest complaints and refer to Hotel Manager or Front Desk Supervisor as required
  • Solid understanding of guest service principles
  • Good communication skills
  • Previous experience or education an asset
  • Provide information regarding room status and special guests to other departments
