Charltons Banff is comprised of 65 unique guest rooms and suites, with full breakfast facilities where guests are able to enjoy a daily breakfast.Royal Canadian Lodge Banff has 99 guest rooms, including 20 suites. We offer an intimate setting with meeting spaces for up to 100 guests. The Evergreen Restaurant is open from 7:00 am-10:00 pm, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as providing in-room dining.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of the Food & Beverage Supervisor include, but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain daily liquor room inventory controls.
- Participate in Month End Liquor Inventory counts ensuring accurate reporting.
- Ensure that all banquet requirements are organized and well executed ensuring group satisfaction.
- Ensure proper beverage service in accordance with Alberta Liquor Laws.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of food and beverage servers and other serving staff.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to enhance both the presentation and service standards throughout the operation.
- Liaise with the Conference Services and Catering Team to assist Group Convenors to enhance their experience.
- Provision of exceptional guest service, going above and beyond to ensure total guest satisfaction.
- To ensure the level of service is harmonized by our menu, which displays the highest level of culinary skills, evident in all areas of presentation and preparation.
- Conducting continuous wine and cocktail knowledge and service training.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ongoing learning about wine and gaining knowledge of Wine and Food Pairing.
- Completion of Alberta Server Intervention Program (ASIP)
- ProServe Certification
- Ability to supervise and lead a team, achieving goals in a timely fashion.
