Job Description
What You’ll Do


The Application Support Analyst's primary role is to design, develop, and support the release of applications at Canadian Tire Financial Services (CTFS). You’ll research, investigate, recommend and drive solutions by participating in project definition and prioritization, determining solutions alternatives, creating conceptual designs and detail design of solutions that meet the business requirements and align with key strategies.


Your Key Accountabilities Include


  • Work with architects, developers, and delivery teams to ensure solutions align with proposed roadmaps and architecture
  • Understand business requirements, constraints, and dependencies to arrive at solutions
  • Assist other internal and external teams to resolve production issues
  • Support, enhance and maintain a key and vital banking system
  • Lead the application team for production night deployments and on call support for incidents


What You Bring


  • University or College degree in computer science/engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • Prior experience working with application production support
  • 3+ years IT experience


Preference will be given to individuals who possess multi-year experience and/or education with some or all of the following:


  • Familiarity with front end applications (ReactJs and AEM)
  • Jira and Confluence
  • Familiarity with Android APK / Plug in deployments
  • Oracle, JDBC
  • Mobile Device Management / Mobile Device Gateway
