Summary

The IT organization of Enerkem is responsible for the life cycle planning and support of business applications through selection, operation, refresh, migration and optimization. Reporting to the Senior Manager Business Services, the Application specialist – Microsoft Dynamics has specific responsibility for building or configuring, maintaining and enhancing Microsoft Dynamics. The individual must be hands-on and detail oriented. You will work in agile Scrum mode and your expertise will allow you to support the business teams in their daily operations.

RESPONSIBITILTIES

• Propose changes to existing business processes and/or creating new business processes to meet specific requirements.
• Provide technical expertise in the implementation of complex solutions
• Direct, develop and oversee the test phase of each initiative
• Build effective relationships with business teams and ensure business processes are being executed consistently.
• Enable workshops/feedback sessions to ensure continuous improvement of business processes
• When applicable, work with third party application provider(s)
• Coordinate the design, development and implementation of solutions.
• Develop and facilitate the training for business users
• Accurately and comprehensively capture business requirements, transforming them into functional specifications for configuration and/or development.
• Ability to understand ERP system tables enough to develop reports, performing database queries or build integrations with third party applications
• Work hand in hand with your designated business departments to ensure operational ERP information flows

Qualifications

• Functional knowledge of ERP modules in Finance and Human Resources
• 7 – 10 years supporting or developing applications in a similar role
• Implementing and/or operating Microsoft Dynamics AX or comparable systems
• 5 years experience with ERP systems Microsoft Dynamics (365 ,AX) preferred, business process reengineering and ERP system support in a multi-site environment;
• Good knowledge of finance, human resources, project management as well as supply chain systems.
• Bilingualism (French and English) is required

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, or a related field
