Dynamics 365 Bc Functional Consultant – Food And/Or Beverage

Overview

As a Business Central Functional Consultant working predominantly with Food and Beverage industry customers, your main focus will be on understanding our clients' unique business requirements and translating them into efficient solutions using the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform, enhanced by the VinPoint Wine Management solution. You will guide clients through the implementation process, ensuring a smooth transition from requirements gathering to system configuration, testing, training, and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

Your day will consist of:

• Solution Design and Configuration: Utilize your extensive knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to configure solutions that align with clients' needs while adhering to best practices and industry standards within the food and beverage sector.
• Project Management: As a vital member of the implementation team, you will define and set milestones, ensuring timely delivery of each stage. Regularly communicate progress and potential risks to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to elicit and document detailed business and functional requirements related to food and beverage inventory management and processes. Conduct thorough analysis to understand clients' pain points and objectives within the industry.
• Data Migration: Collaborate with technical teams to define data migration requirements, ensuring accurate and secure transfer of legacy data into the new system, tailored specifically for the food and beverage industry.
• Training and User Support: Provide valuable feedback on existing training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure the successful adoption of the new system. Offer ongoing support and guidance to address inquiries and resolve system-related issues, assisting in a smooth transition to the client support team post go-live.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct comprehensive testing of the implemented solution to validate its functionality, data integrity, and performance. Work closely with clients to facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and promptly address any identified issues.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform. Identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements to maximize efficiency and productivity for our clients in the food and beverage industry. Work closely with the food and beverage industry team to continually enhance offerings and delivery.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of food and beverage industry operations or a strong desire to learn and consult within this sector, including inventory management, sales and distribution, and compliance regulations.
• Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex implementations on time and within budget.
• Proven experience as a Functional Consultant or Business Analyst implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central within the food and beverage industry.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Potential Travel: Up to 25%
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central modules.
