Application Architect - Payments

We are currently seeking an Application Architect with exceptional problem-solving skills to drive workstreams. You will work alongside top engineers and technical thought leaders building Hybrid Cloud solutions helping shape the future of Credits Unions ecosystem. This Application Architect will specialize in Payments.

What will you do?

• Develop and Socialize end-to-end target architecture roadmaps and solution blueprints.
• Closely work with engineering teams in implementing the target state solutions.
• Take ownership of Key architecture decisions. You will author important architecture decisions (ADs) ensuring thorough reviews by all stakeholders. You will organize and lead the review of ADs through all levels of architecture governance
• Proactively drive rationalization of competing interests and achieve consensus on contentious issues.
• You will provide mentoring and coaching to help nurture the development of developers and architects and help ensure a healthy talent pool for succession planning.
• Influence decision making and facilitate teams with multiple stakeholders at all levels in the organization.

Requirements

Must-have technology experience

• Banking transformation sme
• Experience with software architecture involving ISO 20022 api
• Payment types: automate fund transfer, cheque processing, Internationa/domestic wires , E-Transfer, Financial settlement, BillPayment
• 20+ years of experience in IT specifically in Solutions Architecture.
• Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Nice to have technology experience

• Experience in Cloud Computing and Public Cloud Platforms
• ERPs and ERP Integration
• Reconciliation and Settlement of domestic and international payments.
• Experience in APIs, Microservices and Event Based Architectures
