Job Description

Reporting jointly to the Director of Advancement, Faculty of Health and the Senior Director, Alumni Relations the Alumni Engagement Officer is to increase alumni engagement to further build and develop the advancement pipeline. Working with the Director they will develop and implement a strategy for alumni outreach, alumni volunteer engagement and the student-alumni bridge. By focusing on alumni engagement opportunities that creates development opportunities and a meaningful and progressive involvement relationship with the Faculty of Health and the University while also deepening the culture of philanthropy, volunteerism and financial engagement.


The Alumni Engagement Officer is an active member of the Health Advancement team and will inform strategic and operational advancement activities. Development tasks include prospect identification and qualification, donor relations and stewardship, and related alumni development and fundraising responsibilities.


The Alumni Engagement Officer represents Health in the Alumni Professionals Group (APG) and reports back to the Health Advancement team. They work collaboratively with Faculty and central alumni teams and development professionals. This role will engage our global network of volunteers to strengthen relationships and progress Faculty of Health advancement objectives.
