Purpose of the Position:
FFAF Cargo is actively seeking a seasoned Freight Forwarding Coordinator to spearhead our Air Import and Export shipments in line with our strategic expansion. This role is central to our operations, requiring the incumbent to manage and streamline all aspects of our freight forwarding processes, thus ensuring an efficient and seamless experience for our clients. With your comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience, you will be instrumental in fortifying our company's position within the industry.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate air and truck forwarding moves.
- Understand and manage the customs process (eManifest,CERS, AMS/ISF).
- Coordinate and manage air import/export shipments: entry into the CargoWise system, documentation collection, payment submissions to airlines, forwarders, etc.
- Follow up on deliveries, advise clients as necessary, and obtain proof of delivery (PODs).
- Arrange and track the delivery of shipments.
- Arrange freight payments and deliveries for COD customers.
- Confirm shipment release and, in certain cases, notify the appropriate parties or arrange for pick up and/or delivery.
- Adhere to customers' standard operating procedures and proactively notify customers of any issues.
- Prepare and distribute Cargo Status Reports.
- Coordinate booking requests with airlines
- Review and approve vendor/agent debit/credit notes.
- Arrange customs clearance process and final mile delivery
- This role may require working on weekends and performing other duties as needed.
· Prepare CERS and other necessary documentation.
· Create all export documents (AWB/MBL, HAWB/HBL)
· Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet customer service commitments.
· Coordinate booking requests with airlines.

Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
· Strong knowledge of Air freight operation, documentation, and Customs Regulations.
· Experience with CargoWise Systems is a plus.
· Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of management and support staff.
· Capability to manage high-pressure situations calmly.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office.
· Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
· A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
· Proactive, self-motivated individual.
· Good working knowledge of airlines and geographical region coverage.
· Familiarity with Incoterms.
Compensation & Benefits:
· Salary is negotiable and will be commensurate with the experience and scope of the role.
