As the Coordinator for our Park Royal Pool facility you will have an important role welcoming all our families and creating relationships with our staff at our brand-new swimming pool located at Park Royal Shopping Centre in West Vancouver.
This position would be ideal for someone starting their career in operations, HR, and customer service.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist with facilitating program and class transitions
- Assist with setting seasonal schedules and find replacement staff in case of staff absences
- Prevent, manage, and find solutions to customer problems or complaints
- Work closely with Park Royal Facility Manager and other staff to ensure swim lessons are running smoothly
- Answer phones, emails and in-person inquiries
- Maintain facility cleanliness, safety and security at all times
- Process product sales, program registrations, payments, cancellations and class switches
- Ensure schedules and class changes are communicated to staff
- Create personable relationships with families
- Enter payroll hours into the Payroll Guardian system by set deadlines
- Assist with screening candidates and check for required certifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in an administrative role
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience; call centre, retail, hospitality, or reception/front desk experience an asset
- Experience working with children and staff in a sport, recreation, or summer camp environment an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and Office365
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, problem-solve, and remain composed under pressure
- Start date: ASAP
- Part-time to full-time hours available ( up to 40 hours per week)
- Shifts will include one weekend day
- Starting at $18/ hour
