Job Description
  • Greeting and triaging patients.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to enhance the patient experience.
  • General administrative duties.
  • Entering test orders from various requisitions into the Laboratory Information System.
  • Performs a variety of duties including but not limited to:
Required Skills
  • Strong team player with the ability to perform duties independently and with others.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on client service and public relations.
  • Demonstrates strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent computer skills with good working knowledge of healthcare data bases.
Required Experience
  • Previous PSC data entry experience within the past 6 months.
  • Healthcare or clinical laboratory experience with knowledge of laboratory tests delivered.
  • Experience, courses or training in customer service and/or data
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Office computer
Minimum Qualifications
  • Medical Terminology and knowledge of medical laboratory
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Relevant post-secondary education (E.g. Medical Office Assistant certificate).
