Essential Job Functions

• Respond to service support requests/inquires
• Provide accurate and timely completion of tasks
• Maintain training manuals with updated processes
• Liaise with various internal/external stakeholders as required to ensure smooth management of the process
• Serve as a primary contact for role
• Contribute to monthly and annual review process.
• Complete adjustment & netting requests
• Organize, and maintain appropriate files and documents
• Apply Payments to customer accounts
• Reconcile and balance bank deposits (daily/weekly)
• Create deductions based on payment received

Qualifications

• Experience managing large retail customers (Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Canadian Tire, K-Mart, Loblaw’s etc.)
• Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
• Post-secondary degree or diploma with a concentration on accounting/finance or related discipline
• Experience using or knowledge of large ERP system (SAP, Oracle E1 9.1 or better, AS400)
• Self-starter, with the ability to prioritize workflow and operate independently in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements
• Ability to Monitor/create periodic reports and participate in identifying/maintaining KPI’s for management
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, etc.).
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Understands the general principles of accounting either through previous experience in a related role OR through post –secondary program.
