Job Description
SUMMARY:


The Manager Accounts Receivable is responsible for planning, scheduling, and directing the work of the Accounts Receivable Department within the established accounting policies of the organization. The Manager Accounts Receivable manages and improves the current Accounts Receivable process. The Manager Accounts Receivable manages and develops existing staff. The Manager Accounts Receivable executes internal strategies and communicates to internal and external stakeholders.


Job Duties


  • Responsible for supervising and developing systems for the accounts receivable function.
  • Manages staff. Possesses ability to manage a high volume of work and provide detailed information related to DPO and vendor terms.
  • Responsible for accounts receivable transactions. Maintains financial information, files and records for the purpose of ensuring the availability of documentation and compliance with established policies.
  • Develops, implements, and delivers financial strategies for the organization.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Records, updates and reconciles related financial information and provides general accounting support.
  • Resolves non-routine complex variances and payment issues to vendors. Negotiates with vendors on AR related issues.
  • Responsible for integration of the Accounts Receivable process with acquisitions.


Education & Experience


Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with five years of related experience or equivalent combination. Three-way match experience is a plus.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities


  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and projects
  • Professional, self-motivated employee with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent proficiency in databases and Microsoft Word.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel including, but not limited to V look up, pivot tables, charts, graphs and tables.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to all levels of employees.
