Accountant Jobs

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with advanced Excel capabilities and experience working with SAP BI Hana. This is a newly created position in our company, and the Accountant will work closely with the owner and CFO to support financial reporting and assist with the implementation and utilization of SAP BI.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and systems.
• Provide support during external audits and assist with the preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of SAP B1, providing assistance to the team with the new ERP system.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
• Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Conduct periodic audits of financial activities to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations, recommending adjustments as necessary.
• Collaborate with the owner and CFO to prepare and analyze financial reports using advanced Excel functions and formulas.
• Perform reconciliations of accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas.
• Prior experience with Sage or other accounting systems is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience working with SAP BI Hana is highly preferred. Or Power BI
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
